当地时间晚上10点30分，中国队在主教练伊万科维奇的带领下，走出雅加达苏加诺-哈达国际机场，随后登上等待在那里的大巴前往酒店。
国足是在结束了上海的集训后赶往印尼参赛的，当天出发前中国队公布了25人球员大名单，除了此前因伤提前退出集训的武磊，上海海港球员刘若钒也未能入选。
2026美加墨世界杯亚洲区预选赛18强赛只剩下最后两轮，鉴于中国队和巴林队目前同积6分，落后小组第四印尼队3分，想要获得小组前四晋级世预赛附加赛，中国队要力争取得两连胜。客场与印尼队一战，国足必须取胜才能保证将出战附加赛的希望延续到最后一战，如果打平或者输给印尼队，最后一场主场与巴林队的比赛将基本失去意义。
